Grisker allows users to create their own online magazine. The website showcases well-designed magazines. The user friendly interface allows users to navigate quickly with minima learning required. Users can build a team to manage their online magazine. Grisker allows users to set multiple administrators so the user can maintain an individual account when working with others. Users can upload files and media and organize each through the media manager. All pages are published to the user’s personal page, which allows others to subscribe for future updates. The built in page editor allows the user to construct an original, attractive magazine page. Grisker supports high resolution photographs, which are kept at their full resolution to improve the overall quality of the user’s magazine. Third party hosted media can be added through links as well. Grisker gives users many ways to put together an effective, entertaining and interesting online magazine. Additional features include a comment system, activity feeds, follow features and the ability to create multiple issues at once.

Grisker is relatively new. The application was launched on July 24th, 2011. It was intended to make it easier for users to create an effective online magazine. Users could design the layout and add media without any HTML or programming knowledge. The web based design also allows users to reach out to a large audience without managing files and templates on their computer.

Grisker helps users quickly and easily put together an online magazine. There are many ways to share information online, however Grisker provides one of the few that allow users to manage their own online publication. The application includes a number of customization options that enable users to build a unique layout and design to go with their magazine.

The Grisker homepage welcomes users with screenshots of magazines as well as a unique black and white site design accented by vibrant yellow, green and red. The narrow header bar includes four buttons along the right side and the red and white Grisker logo to the left. The user can build their magazine however they want, making each publication look original compared to others created using Grisker.

A new user can create a Grisker account by clicking the white “Register” button in the upper, right hand corner of the homepage. Users can also click the large green “Register an Account Now!” button along the left hand side of the page. After doing so, the user is asked to provide a username, email address and password. The user must also successfully enter a Captcha code at the bottom of the form to prove that they are a real person prior to submitting the form. After doing so, the user is advised that they have seven days to access an activation email sent to the address they provided.

Grisker is available to all users for free. There are no subscription fees or other charges required to use the application. The user can create multiple issues and manage existing issues however often they like. The site is still very young, so it is possible that this could change should new features be added in the future.

Grisker.com is aimed at anyone who is interested in managing their own online magazine. The application is easy to use and helps the user put together an attractive, effective layout and design. Users can add their own files or pull content from other online resources. User can also collaborate to manage a magazine as a team.
